An Unlikely Place for Love

Kate Tanner wasn't having a good day. First, she witnesses her parents' murders. Then she disguises herself as a man and flees to a small North Dakota town to hide out until the killers are caught. It was only supposed to be a simple escape. Only, it was anything but simple. Chad Walker hires her, and she is attracted to him. That's all well and good but he thinks she is a man because of her disguise. Then when her cover is blown, she has to make up a story about a sister who's coming out for a visit. Only, this attracts every bachelor in the area...something she definitely doesn't want. And if that's not bad enough, when she's in her male disguise, she has to fight off the unwanted attention from a local girl...who can't be repulsed no matter what Kate does. Life as a woman has never been so hard.
