Heart On Hold

Karla Sanders' ancestral home on the shores of beautiful Echo Mountain Lake could be the perfect setting for romance, but Karla has postponed thoughts of love and marriage. Her beloved father has suffered a stroke and she has left college, just a few weeks short of graduation, in order to dedicate herself to his recovery and the realization of his dream--making their property a resort second to none on the lake. But two men enter her life and complicate things immeasurably--neighboring landowner Jake Carew, seeking to end the long-time feud between his family and Karla's, and Armand Fitzharold, a transitory real estate tycoon. Although Jake's ties to the lake ensure that he will never leave, it's hard for Karla to believe that he has changed. Meanwhile, it is nomadic Armand who threatens Karla's determination to keep her heart on hold.
