Werwolves

(1912)
A novel by

The werwolf should not be confused with a lycanthrope. It must be borne in mind that the werwolf is a person transformed into a wolf in form and appetite, or a person capable of assuming a wolf's form. Lycanthropy may be considered a form of insanity in which the person imagines himself a wolf. However, folklore claims it to be the assumption of the form and traits of a wolf on the part of a person victimized by witchcraft or magic.

Genre: Paranormal Romance
