Jayne Ormerod
Jayne Ormerod grew up in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, earned her BS in accountancy from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, then married a naval officer. Twenty-seven years and eleven duty stations later, they currently reside in Newport, Rhode Island. It's not that Jayne didn't like wearing pinstripes and panty hose to her job as a CIA (that's not a spy thing, but a Certified Internal Auditor), but it soon became apparent she needed a career that was more transportable, so she turned to writing. Now every day is Casual Friday at the office.
