But when the entire city is haunted by legends far too alive for dead things? Will's up for a challenge as much as the next guy with a friendly baby dragon at his side.
His own personal haunting is enough without literal ghosts making mince of the populace. Will's as surly as he is stubborn, and even he can't ignore it when rumours of hundreds disppearing into Kirkstall Abbey reach his ears. Especially when he learns that's exactly where the woman he seeks has gone.
Will thought he'd gotten away from the corruption that caught his uncle and his friend, but the memories of Bamford aren't all that have followed him northward.
