Rob Osler writes contemporary and historical mysteries. His debut contemporary novel Devil's Chew Toy is the first book in the Hayden & Friends Series, which features a rainbow cast of kick-ass amateur sleuths. Rob's historical series, Sylvia Morrow Mysteries, stars a fierce lady detective in the American West. The first book in that series, Murder at the Natatorium, is awaiting publication. Rob's first mystery short story, Analogue, was published 2021 in Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine.
A long-time brand strategist and business writer, Rob is also a halfway decent tennis player, proficient at making chicken piccata and crab cakes, and threatens to restart playing bridge and the banjo--though not at the same time. Born and raised in Boise, Idaho, Rob attended college in Washington, where he also earned a master's degree in business. After many years of living in Chicago, Seattle, and San Francisco, he resides in southern California with his long-time partner and a tall, gray cat.
