Being a good girl never seemed to work out.

My besties have dropped like flies to the power of The List—something we wrote when we were in junior high and swore we would complete if we were still single when we turned thirty.

Well, I’m thirty, I’m single, and it’s my turn to start checking items off the list.

I should be traveling the world.

But I’m helping my brother and his business colleague open their ski lodge instead.

Maybe agreeing to help wasn’t the best idea when I’m supposed to be turning wild.

My list items aren’t for the faint of heart.

Throw a fit in a high-priced restaurant for no reason?

Gulp.

Not easy to do when your brother’s business partner is across the table from you looking like a whole dang meal.

Oh. And he’s older than me. A silver fox, one might say.

He’s too classy for a list like this.

That doesn’t mean I’m off the hook.

I have to streak at a sporting event.

Oh, and have a one-night stand.

I don’t know who this new version of me is, but her courage makes me proud.

And the way she’s learning to love the man she should steer clear from?

That’s scarier than all the list items combined.

Being bad feels too good to stop.

There’s only one thing I want to add to my bucket list now.

My brother’s smoking hot business partner.
