Bloody omens soon appear, and chilling whispers in the night warn Amanda to leave. Does Ryne seek to frighten her awayor worseso that he can claim the estate for his own? Or is it Amanda he wants? She feels how fiercely Ryne hungers for her, and how little she can resist his desires or her own.
In a place where terror rules and mystery cloaks each move, Amanda cannot fully trust her lover or her love. Every moment of ecstasy might be her last.
