An act of bravery landed Yuri in an odd but not unwelcome spot. Now his every day is spent with an alpha hellhound with an amazing tongue. He doesn’t deserve it.

A lot of terrible acts and choices led Yuri into the path of a powerful godling. It’s the best thing that’s ever happened to him. He’s found a family and a home. Maybe that home is in Hell, but beggars and all that. Now there’s this rough and tumble hellhound who haunts his every waking moment, and Yuri doesn’t know what to do. Brownie is an alpha. He’s special. Everyone keeps saying Yuri is too, but he’s not. He doesn’t deserve this blessing.

Brownie is Lucifer’s guardian hellhound. He’s top dog, even though Lucifer treats him like a pet. Not that Brownie is complaining. He has a good life, but he’s always known that life was one he would travel alone. But now there’s this wolf, and he’s leagues above Brownie. It’ll take a miracle for Yuri to see him as anything other than a friend. It’s too bad they’re both blind.

Unguarded is the fourth book in Charity Parkerson’s Devilish series where vampires, Weres, demons, gods, and all manner of the supernatural live together beneath the noses of humankind. These books are best when read in order.
