Aliens, Apples and Murder
(2022)(The sixth book in the Rosie Ryan Cozy Mysteries series)
A novel by Darrell Pitt
This was a fun book to read. It had me laughing a lot throughout it. It also was fun trying to guess who murdered the victim. It was quite a surprise.
A UFO conference. A cold case. A missing man.
Rosie Ryan faces her toughest challenge ever when she's asked to investigate the death of Hailey Lawrence. The writer was on the verge of international fame with her first novel. Did her death really an accident? Or was she murdered by a jealous rival?
At the same time, Rosie has to deal with the annual Australian Flying Saucer Association conference. It's being held in Cape Carson for the first time, and she's been asked to assist. She wouldn't have said yes, but there's been a terrible misunderstanding, and now she has to chair the panels. It can't be too difficult. Can it?
She's sure there's intelligent life somewhere out there, but she's not so sure about down here...
Our intrepid reporter is back again with her best friend, Kim Chen, her feisty grandmother, Nan, and Todd Parker, the local cop. Good thing Trixie's there to keep everything under control!
***There's no swearing, sex or gory violence in the The Rosie Ryan Cozy Mysteries (although there may be a few dead bodies as people have a bad habit of leaving them lying around).***
Prepare to be sucked into the story quickly, while laughing at the antics and entertaining situations.
Genre: Cozy Mystery
