After solving a string of recent crimes, Sheriff Cassidy Yates is looking forward to a restful time, but his hopes are dashed when what will turn out to be the longest day of his life takes shape.
Sebastian Harman breaks out of his cell in the jailhouse and holds the jailers and Cassidy’s deputy hostage. The desperate Sebastian claims that he’s innocent of the crime of gunning down a man and he gives Cassidy an ultimatum: find and arrest the real killer by sundown or he’ll kill his hostages.
