The House Above the Bay

Victoria's first glimpse of Glencraig, the house above the bay at Kohurutanga Cove, as it loomed up through the dark and the fog, was rather terrifying. She felt a sudden urge to turn the car round and drive back to Christchurch as quickly as she could and, in the weeks that followed, she sometimes wished that she had done just that.
