Lee Brown had stopped off in Christchurch on her travels, and found herself immediately attracted to a stranger she met at a party. An urgent S.O.S. from her aunt meant she had to alter her plans, and a quiet country farm was a far cry from the busy city she had been anticipating. However Woodlands was a fantastic surprise, nestled in the shadow of the Southern Alps, and by the time her aunt no longer needed her, she found that she was no longer eager for the bright city lights.
