Paul White's misfortune is to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, and it costs him dearly.
It turns out to be unfortunate for a number of other people as well.
White has a sister, Diana, and when his yacht is found drifting in the Atlantic, with no sign of Paul himself, she is not satisfied with the accepted theory that he has fallen overboard and drowned.
So Diana pesters young police officer Bruce Standen to do something about it. He is not at all eager to become involved, but finds it difficult to refuse this enchanting woman anything.
But it turns out to be very much his business after all.
And a pretty dangerous business at that.
Standen uncovers more than he bargained for, but it is up to him to uncover the truth.
The Junk Run is a tense thriller, filled with mystery, suspense and action.
