Can a tarnished princess thaw a knight’s frozen heart?

Zeke was the poster boy for women’s rights. After failing his sister, he vows to protect and honor women until a man-hating boss fires him and makes sure he’ll never work his field again. After that, Zeke finds himself driving across the country to help with the Casa Flanigan farm while its caretakers go on their honeymoon. For unemployed, disillusioned Zeke, the opportunity is a dream come true. Animals, fresh air, and no people.

Brook had messed up her life. As the daughter of an exotic dancer, she fears having to live the same kind of life as her mother. She dreams of marriage and babies, and in desperation she hangs her hat on the wrong man and finds herself abandoned at a gas station in the middle of nowhere with nothing more than the clothes on her back. Zeke finds her, and although he growls and frowns all the time, he might be her only hope.

Zeke can’t turn away from a damsel in distress, although every ounce of him wants to run from Brook. Instead they cross the country to a farm where God begins to chip away the ice that keeps them separate and lonely and hopeless.

But the farm job is temporary. Will they have time to change their lives and find their way before the clock strikes midnight on their adventure?
