The original novel Doctor Who - Cold Fusion was written for Virgin Publishing in 1996 by Lance Parkin - who returned twenty years on to adapt it for audio! It is a hugely anticipated tale for fans, eager to see the meeting of two Doctors (Peter Davison and Sylvester McCoy) who never met on screen. Responsibility for getting this epic production into studio with one of Big Finish's biggest casts went to director Jamie Anderson - son of Gerry Anderson, the storyteller to a generation with Captain Scarlet, Thunderbirds and Stingray! Sylvester McCoy originally played the Doctor in 1987 - 1989, (then again in 1996) while his other work includes Radagast the Brown in Peter Jackson's epic The Hobbit films.
