Gunman's Moon

"Odd Partnership" finds gunfighter Lewis Morgan caught in a snowstorm and finding refuge in a barn. He wakes in the night, surprising two men who appear to have been waiting to ambush the owner in the morning. The next morning he meets the owner, Deputy U.S. Marshal Andrew Tully, who does not appear to be overly concerned about the night visitors. Since the snow makes further travel impossible, Morgan accompanies Tully into town. Later that day as Tully steps out of his office, a shot is heard and the marshal goes down. Morgan has never cared for bushwhackers and he takes it upon himself to find out who wants to kill Tully.
