I was abandoned in the woods of the Silver Ash Pack at birth, along with Ombré, who I call my sister. Taken in by a couple who lost their son, the alpha heir, I grew up being vilely mistreated until the reigning alpha stepped in and got help for my foster father. When he came back, he was a different man and started training the two of us based on books he scoured since he couldn’t determine what abilities we actually possessed. Being near her is everything, although until we complete the mating trials set forth by the academy, I can’t touch her the way I yearn to do. As Hudson’s second-in-command someday when he takes over ruling the Underworld, I need a mate who is strong and capable of standing on her own two feet and Carrington is definitely capable of that and so much more.
But because of the threat of war with the Shadowland Force, our mating trials have been moved and now, I have to fight my way to my mate so I can finally claim her the way I’ve longed to do since the very beginning.
