Linda Palmer

Linda Palmer (who wrote "culinary" mysteries for Berkley Prime Crime using the pen name Melinda Wells), was born in Georgia, grew up in Florida and moved to New York City to become a playwright. Learning that she wrote bad plays, she went to East Africa and became a successful wild life photographer. Returning to America, she earned her living photographing children and families and began to write again. She wrote for television, for the screen, and became a production vice president of TriStar Pictures.
