Damned Nation

Amid the fire and chaos of the Civil War something inhuman was stalking the grim battlegrounds. A monstrous thing that was savaging the armed soldiers on both sides, North and South. Not even the dead were safe from the unkillable fiend who walked through volleys of thundering cannons without being harmed. Struggling to hold a divided nation together, a besieged President Lincoln reluctantly creates a secret organization to handle the hellish problem. Given the codename: Bureau 13, the new agency is assigned the nearly-impossible task of stopping the supernatural murders before the grotesque deaths become public knowledge creating the kind of national panic that could easily topple the already-weakened United States.
