Nicola Pryce

Nicola Pryce trained as a nurse in St Bartholomew's Hospital, London. She chose it because she loved the fact it was so ancient. When her children were young, she studied for a degree in Humanities with the Open University before going on to specialise as a chemotherapy nurse.

Her love of Cornwall began with the wonderful books she read as a child in her strict boarding school - often with a torch under the bedcovers.

Now, she is lucky enough to live in Somerset, and sails the south coast of Cornwall with her husband in search of adventure. She has three children and is a qualified adult literacy volunteer.
