(The third book in the DS Martin Draker series)
A novel by

'Some writers talk the talk, but Roger Price walks the walk.' Stephen Leather

A bomb is planted by a Russian ex-Spetsnaz, Igor Jakinsky, who is arrested, but refuses to reveal the location. The device will explode in an hour in Preston.

Detective Sergeant Draker - an unconventional but effective officer - is called in to deal with the case, whilst key personnel travel up from London.

Jakinsky entered the UK as a fruit picker. Assessed by MI5 previously, he was photographed in a compromising position with another picker, Olga Solokov.

The photographs are used as leverage against the Russian and he reveals the location of the device. But the clock is ticking.

Sokolov is apprehended, as a further call warns of a second bomb. Draker, a skilled interrogator, plays the conspirators off against each other, and uncovers a plot involving the Russian intelligence service and ISIS.

Things are not what they seem as the UK security services - and NATO - could now be compromised.

Roger A. Price left the police as Special Operations DI and became an Amazon No:1 bestselling crime fiction author. With several crime thrillers and procedurals published, he continues to delve into his bank of real life experiences to bring his novels to life.
