Eve Lloyd’s inn is experiencing a temporary downturn. While she is prepared to weather the storm, her resolve is tested when the new inn on the island goes up in flames and one of the guests dies under mysterious circumstances.
The police turn up at her doorstep to ask some difficult questions. Without a sound alibi, the finger of suspicion is pointed straight at Eve Lloyd.
Even as she tries her best to let the police handle the matter, Eve is urged to put her best foot forward and snoop around. In no time, she has a list of suspects – all new arrivals on the island. It seems everywhere she turns, there is someone acting suspiciously.
