A cold case rocks the town of Eden
It’s just another day in the life of newspaper reporter, Abby Maguire. The small alpine town she lives in is preparing for the much-anticipated inaugural charity brick competition to be held at the town’s pub, The Gloriana, the owner of the local café, Joyce, is gearing up for the festivities and Abby has decided to move out of the pub and into her own home away from home.
To her dismay, the only vacant house in the area is owned by Mrs. Florence Flinch, a retired teacher and Abby’s harshest critic. Everyone in town says Mrs. Flinch is not interested in renting out the house and, with the woman’s criticism fresh in her mind, Abby is reluctant to even approach her. However, she is curious about the house she’s missing out on and only wants a glance at it. Where there’s a will, there’s always a way.
Unfortunately, her inspired idea leads to the discovery of a grave and to the suspicion Mrs. Flinch might have a very good reason for not wanting to rent her house.
Lighthearted cozy mystery.
Clean read: no graphic violence, sex, or strong language but lots of fun, quirky dialogue & characters.
Genre: Cozy Mystery
