"'Wild Oats' is a short but, surprisingly, satisfying read. This reader liked it a lot." ~ Reader review

"I was really excited to find yet another book by one of my favourite authors. Her stories are always delightful to read and this one was lovely. What a talented lady Alicia is. I highly recommend Regency fans to read this book and all of her others. They are great value for money and each story is unique." ~ Reader review

Miss Eveline Thwaite, clever, often caustic and always outspoken, lives with her married sister, Fanny, as she is a spinster of nine-and-twenty. Her quiet morning reading is interrupted by her sister's announcement: Eveline's niece, Charlotte, is to be married to Crispin Royston, Baron Hawkinge, a rake of quite some reputation.

Eveline cannot abide the thought of Charlotte, whose heart is elsewhere, marrying a man solely for the purpose of preventing her family's bankruptcy. After speaking to Charlotte, however, it seems the young girl's mind is firmly made. Not one to stay silent in such a situation, Eveline pays Crispin a visit.

Will Eveline succeed in preventing Charlotte's loveless marriage? Will she get a Valentine's surprise of her own? Find out in the slightly steamy, very romantic Wild Oats.
