When school teacher Teri McAfee loses her job and gets dumped by her fiancee all at once, her Aunt Sam's invitation to stay at her beautiful seaside bed & breakfast on quirky little Admiral Archibald Falls Island off Florida for a couple of weeks sounds like the perfect opportunity to leave her troubles behind! But relaxing is out of the questions when a famously eccentric author and his annoying entourage descend on the B&B and throw it into chaos! And while the live guests are troublesome, when one of them turns up dead the trouble is just beginning!

With time running out and the bed & breakfast's reputation on the line, Teri and Aunt Sam must race the clock to stop the murderer before they kill again! Handsome and flirtatious boat captain Nick Delaney wants to help catch the murderer, and wants Teri to make her stay on the island permanent, but with fishy casinos, dueling ex-wives and hot rod golf carts to contend with, this vacation could end up dead in the water!
