But my far-sight didn’t warn me my apartment would be set on fire or that a tiny blue dragon would save me from the flames. I certainly wasn’t expecting Aiden Maddox–a too-good-looking bodyguard whom the dragon insists on hiring–or what his touch does to me.

I thought the destruction of The Whispers would free me and let me live my life in peace. I was wrong. So very, very wrong.
Kai Maddox, the head of the West Coast Gryphon clan, wants me to find his fiancé, who disappeared somewhere in Denver. I try to tell him I don’t have the skills for that sort of job, but the next thing I know, I’m on a plane headed east. At the airport I spot a man I’m sure I know, only to realize he’s a stranger.
