It's Monday.
Oh, and I've been left for dead on an alien planet by some a-hole who wants my job. Fantastic.
Befriending the local aliens looks like my only chance of surviving long enough for someone to realize that I'm missing. Good job that I've got plenty to offer with all my military training.
Then Klan'al wanders into my sights.
He's big, sulky, a definite loner, and he's a giant with glowing orange eyes. The ideal co-worker.
But all I need is to make it through the next few months and get back to my ship, my career, and making the lives of my underlings misery. Unfortunately, it looks like the aliens I've found aren't as friendly as they first appeared.
I want off this planet. Except leaving means leaving Klan'al. And suddenly I'm not sure my career is that important anymore...
