Lizard Wells

After losing his whole family to the blood lust of an army patrol, Ben Brooke takes to the desolate Ozark snowline. But after years of bitter loneliness, he eventually returns to the town called Lizard Wells.In the meantime, the guilty soldiers have degenerated into guerrillas and have made the small township their centre of operations for raiding and continuing brutal disorder. Lizard Wells is also home to the tough and lonely Erma Flagg and more importantly, Moses, a young Cheyenne half-breed.After a gruelling journey of many cruel incidents, Ben Brooke approaches the place where some destinies are still to be decided. Then a wild thunderstorm crushes the town. In desperate need of help, Ben chooses to step single-handedly into a final reckoning.
