When intelligence indicates that a senior courier from Hanoi will travel down the Ho Chi Minh Trail with important documents describing a planned operation that will make the 1968 Tet Offensive look like a cake walk, Captain Roger Malik and his Delta-one commandos are tasked with infiltrating the area with the mission of locating and capturing the courier and his documents. Malik thinks it’s an impossible task, not unlike the many other ‘impossible’ tasks he and his unit have been assigned.
Finding one man, whose name and identify are unknown, and whose travel schedule is unavailable would be considered too daunting a mission for most. For Delta-one, it’s routine. Malik doesn’t question his orders. He knows they’re important, so he figures out a way to do the impossible.
Little does he know, though, just how impossible the job will be, or how truly crucial.
