The Marriage Medallion

The 3rd of the Viking Brides trilogy brings Brit, the youngest triplet who is an adventurer, to Vildelund the wild, north country home of the Mystics. The people live as the Norsemen did-primitive. Brit pilots her own airplane but it's sabotaged, when she crashes she's greeted by a renegade teenage who shots her with a poisoned arrow. Brit is rescued by Eric Grayfell, who owns the medallion she's wearing she's been told it's for good luck not for being the chosen bride! Medwyn, Eric's father is her father's grand counselor has tricked her with it - her father is the King and wants this marriage very much too. She has come to Eric with questions of her brother's death. Valbrand was to be the next king and Eric was to be his grand counselor but Valbrand has died at sea when he went a-Viking. Brit is attracted to Eric but doesn't want to a bride yet. The story is a little gritty - has death, attempted murder, intrigue, and of course romance. Great book and we learn of Valbrand. In May '04 a single title A MAN BEHIND THE MASK will be released with the final story of these wonderful Vikings!
