A Lonely Place to Die

"The old lady - with a bustle." These words, uttered by Vincent Stroud before he was murdered, set Peter Gayleigh once again on the adventure trail. He becomes interested in a remote castle in Scotland where something very odd appears to be going on. His determination to solve this mystery brings him into contact with Shirley Quentin whose father, the owner of the castle, has disappeared. Finally, on a Scottish moor, Gayleigh meets the Herr Doktor Ulrich von Shroeder, a biochemist and master spy.
