Ten years.

That’s how long I spent in prison after murdering two men. It was meant to be a life sentence, but my club has a lot of pull. Even nightmares are terrified of the Saint’s Outlaws MC in Baltimore. I’m the president of that club, and damn proud.

I’ve been out for five years, running my club and using our unique skills to spread Hellfire through the city, removing those even more undesirable than us. We don’t do it for free, though, and our employer has deep pockets. It’s good that the Catholic Church aims to clean up the city. The last time one of their priests overstepped, he ended up very dead, and I ended up in that jail cell.

My only regret is losing the love of my life.

Salome was and is my everything. I haven’t seen her in fifteen years, but that’s how life works sometimes. I went to prison for her— because the men that hurt her weren’t gonna keep on breathing after what they did. But avenging her came at a high price. The girl I’d loved since I was fifteen was gone. I lost it all when I lost her.

But as fate would have it, she’s back in town.

Here to help her aging grandmother, Salome comes storming back into our city with more fury toward me than God before the Flood. Shes got secrets, too . . . two of them, and they both have my eyes. But she’s not just angry; she’s still hurting.
Now, with old foes coming out of hiding after her return, I not only have to get her to let me protect her, but I have to find a way to earn her forgiveness and make her fall in love with me again.

We’re both about to learn the hard way that the path to heaven is bathed in a f*ck-ton of blood.
