Darlene Ryan

Darlene Ryan has been writing since she figured out that letters made words and words made stories. So of course her first degree was in... Biology. After working for a year she went back to university for a degree in Education. Although she's endlessly fascinated by theories on the origin of the universe, and kids are her favorite audience to read to, she thinks she wasn't cut out to be a scientist or a teacher. She worked on radio was an entertainment columnist, a consumer reporter, a news reader and a copywriter before she became a successful writer.
