At the South Gate

Here is a fun find! A hardback copy in its original dust jacket of: AT THE SOUTH GATE, by Grace S Richmond - "A Novel of Modern Life in Fast Society" as it was in the 1920s. Published by A L Burt Company; copyright 1927, 1928 by the author. This hardback book measures approx 5 1/4" by 7 3/4" and has 333 pages followed by 10 pages of advertising. The boards are covered by textured yellow cloth and the titles are on the spine and on the front cover in a muted gold color. The dust jacket has a color illustration on the front and a B&W illustration on the back -- both illustrations are signed but they the signature is very hard to read the appear to begin C.C.
