No one in Crossfork Landing would dare call Powder River Bill Beedle a liar... he just stretches the truth a mite sometimes. Still, Clint Adams counted Bill as a friend - he'd trust him with his life, if necessary.
But the Gunsmith isn't so sure about the fancy-talking English lord who's just hired them. Clint and Bill have to get him through hostile Indian country in one piece. It doesn't take long for the Gunsmith to realize that lies might sound better in a highfalutin accent - but they're still lies.
