Being optimistic, I came to Cincinnati with both feet in the water. I was leaving my past behind and starting fresh. I just hated the terms of the relocation. Playing nice with the Savage Kings and taking part of their name for ours felt traitorous to me. One step at a time, I’d help rebuild us here, making us known for being ruthless and conquering this territory. My plans were solid, including the ones I had for my daughter. Then the sexiest woman I’d ever seen came knocking on my door.
Savai was supposed to be the new nanny, but there was no way I could let her keep the job when I was already plotting to get her in my bed. So I fired her to prevent my daughter from getting attached to someone who wouldn’t be around long. Now it’ll be easy to get what I want and need. Win-win. But when the agency calls to tell me they don’t have anyone else available it halts my plans and has me backtracking. If she says yes to coming back, I’ll have to taper my needs.
