A series of unforeseen circumstances finds fourteen-year-old Jeremy Winslow aboard the Titanic and returning to his home in New York City. But Jeremy is anything but happy about the trip because his "second sight" tells him that something terrible is going to happen on the voyage. As if to confirm his fears, no sooner does the massive ship get underway when Jeremy learns from a fellow passenger, an English girl named Melissa, that the ship is carrying in its cargo a mummy with an ominous curse on it. Although he tries to scoff off the whole thing as mere superstition, he quickly becomes a believer as the mummy's "ghost" begins to haunt the ship, apparently intent on destroying the Titanic and all its passengers onboard.
