As an undercover cop, Razor had made a lot of enemies—the worst being the Devils. When his cover was blown, the Devils found his house and his woman, sending him a clear-cut message. Finding his wife dead on the kitchen floor with a knife sticking out of her belly wasn’t even the worst part of the Devil’s attack. That came much later when an autopsy proved that she was about three months pregnant. She had left him with a one-year-old and more sadness than he knew what to do with. One thing was for certain—he wasn’t going to let his wife down by not doing his best to care for their daughter. He owed her at least that much since he was the reason why she wouldn’t get the chance to watch their daughter grow up.
Letting a stranger pick her up from the side of the road wasn’t her best idea, but she had no choice. Ella knew that the Devils would be looking for her, and she couldn’t waste any more time trying to walk to town. They had sold her off to so many men, she had lost count. Her only joy was finding a way to piss those men off so much that they’d return her to the Devils for a full refund. She wasn’t afraid of the men who were responsible for her human trafficking. No, she was more worried about losing herself and becoming a ghost. Ella couldn’t let that happen, and the only way to prevent that was to get as far away from the Devils as possible.
Razor is book four of the Road Reapers MC (a Riding Hard spin-off) by K.L. Ramsey.
