A siren, a prince, and heist that could anger the gods and send a country crashing into raging seas.

Mira, a half-siren with more saltwater in her soul than luck spends her nights dancing and singing to make ends meet. Raised by a wayward bard, she turned to a life of crime in the streets of Saer in his absence. Mira dances for the rich and powerful, only to rob them when the tide rises and she’s long forgotten.

Only this time someone didn’t forget, and the infamous sea pirate of Saer shows up at her home to collect what he is owed. Fynn gives Mira an impossible task, woo the crown prince of Saer to the brink of marriage then steal the trident of Triton. If she doesn’t Fynn will reveal her con to the town of Saer and ensure that Mira never sets foot in the town again.

Mira will have to use every ounce of cunning she has to overcome the palace defenses, woo the prince and pull off this heist. If she’s caught Mira very well could be the kraken’s next sacrifice in this twist of a Little Mermaid retelling.
