Wanda Lane never expected her 30s to look like this. She hasn't spoken to her parents because she married an abusive jerk. The jerk, now her ex-husband, George, calls from Alaska often, either begging forgiveness or threatening to kill her, depending on which way the wind is blowing. As if that isn't bad enough, she falls while taking a swing at an obnoxious lawyer, resulting in a head injury that has her hearing phantom music she can't identify...or turn off. She loses her job and suspects she's lost her mind as well. What's a girl to do? Well, drink. Argue with a classifieds editor. Try to convince sexy attorney Walter Briggs to help her sue just about everyone she's ever met. But when George heads down to Tennessee dead-set on revenge, Wanda realizes the only way to fix her problems is to fix herself. With help from her therapist friend Elizabeth and a handful of sticky notes, Wanda is soon apologizing to old friends, facing the demons that led her to marry George, and figuring out what she wants out of life...and who she wants it with. Now, if only she could place that song...
