(The second book in the Four Quarters of Imagination series)
A novel by

Things are going well for Stella Grady.
After her impressive handling of the conspiracy within the Four Quarters of Imagination -a scripted and stylized playground for the rich- involving a network of sex traffickers, she has been given a job as the lead Investigator within the Quarters. Her pay is more than she ever dreamed, her family is safe, and she regularly gets to explore strange worlds. Best of all, it scratches her new itch for danger.
But her position also draws scrutiny. Many believe the company to be evil, and she is targeted by a violent human rights group called SHEEP. When Head Designer of the Four Quarters Jericho Sullivan is abducted by the radicals, she must work closely with his security team and with Brooklyn's finest if there is to be any chance of finding him alive. The investigation takes them in and out of the Four Quarters, to communes beginning to form outside the USA's major cities, and to factories and plantations in the south populated by prisoners and other wards of the state.
