ON THE ROAD TO ROATAN
ADVENTURE, ROMANCE, REALLY BAD GUYS, BEAUTIFUL WOMEN, AND A TREASURE TO DIE FOR LITERALLY
Roatan Island off the coast of Honduras in Central America
On the south shore of Roatan Island youll find the sparse remains of the city where the English and numerous renowned pirates made their original settlements in the sixteen and seventeen hundreds. Port Royal Its unique position offered excellent protection from storms, but more importantly it offered a perfect place geographically, for pirates to reside before attacking passing ships traveling to and from South America and the Caribbean islands.
There is probably no place in the Caribbean that represents more history, and offers more pure opportunity for lost treasure than Roatan. It is probably the most historically significant location for plunder in the Southern Hemisphere
