Since taking over Antwan's empire, Cairo has some pretty big shoes to fill, but he's up for the challenge. Or so he thinks. Just as he's getting comfortable in his role things start coming at Cairo left and right and his main concern is protecting Akaiya and his unborn child. But how can he protect her when people are gunning for him, and when Akaiya is determined to do things her way whether he approves or not. One thing the game is teaching them is that no one can be trusted, and sharing blood doesn't make you family. Akaiya and Cairo were determined not to let the game change them, but that just might be impossible.

Whitley refuses to beg for love. She adores how Bakari is with her son, but that doesn't mean she will sit by and wait while he goes through his phase of sleeping with different women. Bakari feels he should get some credit for being honest. Settling down simply doesn't appeal to him until he starts to see that he has more threats in the game than just police and the opps. Bakari quickly learns that a trifling woman can be his downfall. It dawns on him that Whitley is the only one he can really trust, but does he have a change of heart too late?
