JINGLE AND HIS MAGNIFICENT SEVEN is a holiday classic. What would happen if Santa's "naughty" list were stolen by a rogue elf and offered for sale to a Mid-East terrorist cell? What could be more effective for evil than to hold a list of millions of potential recruits? That's the dilemma facing Jingle Bell, aka, Rocky, the SEIC (Santa Elf in Charge) for the southeastern region of the SBI (Santa Bureau of Investigation). While Rocky can handle Rime, the rogue elf, he is hamstrung by Santa's hardcore rule that no human can be injured in an elf investigation. Thus, Rocky recruits Nep Thomas, a South Florida PI, as his human accomplice. Nep, a natural skeptic, rolls his eyes often, but Rocky convinces him the threat is real. Soon, in spite of raised eyebrows, Rocky and Nep recruit a team of seven PIs to assist . Each joins reluctantly (who's ever heard of the SBI or a SEIC?). While the seven attempt to develop a plan, the terrorist cell's plans morph into a larger threat than simply obtaining the "naughty" list. How can Jingle and His Magnificent Seven bring down the group without 1) involving the police--who would never believe them, and 2) leaving the terrorists uninjured, and 3) insuring the cell is destroyed. Only Rocky, Nep, and the other six can make it happen and save the world. A holiday novella that can be enjoyed by everyone from 6 to 106.
