Murder Afoot

Lottie and Esme find themselves in a precarious position, asked to attend a good old-fashioned 'shindig' in rural Nova Scotia. Unsure of what exactly a 'shindig' is, the pair reluctantly agree only to attend and find themselves wound up in a dance contest. Inspector Stone arrives just in time to join them in the disaster, only it appears he has two of the worst left feet Esme and Lottie have ever seen. But the prize money is substantial, and left with no funds, one of the girls need to win the event in order to get home. Just when all seems about to be turning around from them, someone drops dead on the dance floor. Esme's dance partner, in fact. Looks like the girls aren't out of hot water yet.
