Vigilante justice never sounded so good...

Cheryl:
Bang. That’s my stage name, but I use it more now than my real name. Cheryl is the name of the woman I left behind a long time ago, even though Lucy, my boss at her new workout club for middle-aged women to get back their desirability, calls me by that name. It’s the name of a woman whose parents ate at country clubs while turning a blind eye to abuse.

I sure don’t deserve my good girl name after my ex attacks me in the parking lot at work and meets a sticky end.

It’s interesting my boss knows a lot about how to get rid of the evidence…

It’s even more interesting when I realize that, after every bad thing that’s happened in my life, I think I have a taste for revenge now.

Deputy Kyle Mitchell: Someone hurt her. I don’t see how. She’s beautiful, smart, and a good mother. I can’t stop thinking about her since I saw her dance at the club months ago.

But violent deaths are happening again – deaths of dirtbags that don’t like women and have hurt them in the past. I should concentrate on helping my bosses find out who’s doing it, but she’s the new light in my life, and distractions can be bad news.

I just have no idea how bad the woman I love is.

Then again, she has no idea about the shadows that rule
my life.

Two bads don’t make a good, right?

Bang is a dark romance and can be read as a standalone, although it is helpful to read book one, Copper, to understand side characters. This book has darker themes than book one.

Content warnings: Memories of childhood and domestic abuse for both characters, violent deaths, threats of violence against women, masochism, and gore.

Genre: Romantic Suspense
