Misery Hates Company (2024)
Elizabeth Hobbs
"In Misery Hates Company, Elizabeth Hobbs introduces Marigold Manners, an unlikely detective who navigates the historical catacombs with intelligence, determination, and grit. Smart, gutsy, and flawed, Marigold uncovers bodies, gothic humor, and a rich historical atmosphere, making this a must-read. Set against the backdrop of dark family secrets on Great Misery Island off the coast of Salem, Massachusetts, the novel delivers suspense, giggle-worthy moments, and a well-plotted, unique story."

The Queen of Sugar Hill (2024)
ReShonda Tate Billingsley
"Reshonda Tate's new historical fiction, The Queen of Sugar Hill, takes the reader on an intimate drive through the complex and often misunderstood neighborhood where Academy Award-winning actress Hattie McDaniel lived. Tate's characterization of this champion of human dignity and humble fighter for race advancements is riveting, soulful, and poignant. Her exploration of the chasm between those wanting to work within the system and those rejecting it is as heartbreaking as it is illuminating. The Queen of Sugar Hill is a must-read biographical fiction."

The American Queen (2024)
Vanessa Miller
"Regal, self-possessed with inner strength and dignity--that's the portrayal of Luella Bobo Montgomery in Vanessa Miller's The American Queen. Miller crafts a stellar image of resilience, giving life to a little-known story of American royalty. There's something special, soul-stirring to read of a woman, a wife, a queen building a space with her husband and found family that makes a community's hope of freedom come true. Everyone should read The American Queen and be inspired."
