A stand-alone book or the continuation of the bestselling ‘The Twelve Doors’ series?
BOTH!
IMPORTANT:You can read this book independently since its story begins and ends. However, it’s part of the universe of ‘The Twelve Doors’, even though no character in the series appears in this book. However, if you are following the series, you should read the eighths parts before this novel.
SECOND EDITION.
“Vicente Raga has done it again. In a novel based on true events, he manages to keep the reader trapped until the very end. An exciting life story with an underlying mystery that may be familiar to you. A must.”Harald Brook, Tribuna Libre.
Based on real events. All the characters existed with their true name, although I changed some for privacy reasons. Bear in mind that I related sensible facts, some unknown until now.
Hugo Font was an 18 years old young man when his father, a Spanish newspaper typographer, was assassinated in a demonstration of an anarchist trade union in 1919. Her son was by her side when she died. A truly shocking moment! Without knowing why, he must leave Spain immediately for Berlin, Germany. Crossing Europe just after the end of the First World War is quite an adventure for a young man who doesn’t even speak German. Despite all the inconveniences, he settles down there, working for a newspaper belonging to his german uncle. When life seems to smile at him, a sinister character named Adolf Hitler appears in Germany. Hugo Font was Jewish. Here begins the nightmare for him and a vital adventure for all my readers: a story of personal survival in a Europe dominated by fanaticism. The end of this book is absolutely unexpected and shocking.
Enjoy an exciting novel where the two world wars converge, seen from a Jewish young man’s eyes. Great adventures and a hidden mystery are awaiting you.

QUESTION: What can we expect from your first independent novel, unrelated to the ‘The Twelve Doors’ series?
ANSWER: An exciting story based on true facts. But my readers already know my somewhat playful side. This novel is not unrelated at all.
Q: What do you mean by that?
A: Expect surprises that you can’t imagine. I already said that the story behind ‘The Twelve Doors’ is very much alive.
Q: Does the series continue?
A: Let’s say it’s an independent novel with its own plot and characters, with an extra incentive for those who have read the series. I won’t say anything else even if you torture me.
Genre: Historical Mystery
