Citadel of Love

Dave was the editor of a Canadian newspaper dedicated to fomenting strife between the French and the British population. When his best friend was killed as a result of political factionalism, Dave realized how wrong he had been to associate himself with the campaign. So he broke off his engagement to the daughter of the newspaper owner and gave up his job. After finding his own life in danger, Dave sought protection and solace with a woman who offered him an oasis of serenity.
